Jane Blalock
Jane Blalock started golfing at the age of 13 and won the New Hampshire Amateur five straight times from 1965. She turned pro in 1969 winning LPGA Rookie of the year title. Blalock is widely considered the best female player to have never won a major, as she won 27 LPGA tour titles. She also holds the record of consecutive tournaments without missing the cut (299), which was achieved from 1969 through the last event of 1980.
Blalock now runs a golf event management firm, and she also played a role in founding the Legends Tour.
