Four-time European Tour winner Thorbjørn Olesen joins Team ISPS

International Sports Promotion Society (ISPS HANDA), the leading charity supporting blind and disabled golf, has announced Denmark’s Thorbjørn Olesen as the latest global brand ambassadors at the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth.

Four-time European Tour winner Olesen, has enjoyed considerable success at ISPS events having captured the 2014 ISPS Handa Perth International and 2016 ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf with compatriot Søren Kjeldsen. Olesen becomes the latest global golfing star to join Team ISPS following the earlier announcement of Lydia Ko, the world’s youngest world no. 1 and New Zealand’s former Prime Minister John Key.

He joins an existing list of elite stars including: three-time Major champion Padraig Harrington, PGA Tour winner Emilliano Grillo, former Ryder Cup Star Victor Dubuisson, Dame Laura Davies and England’s No. 1 Charley Hull, and will be using an ISPS HANDA branded Tour bag this year.

Thorbjørn Oleson said, “It’s always a pleasure to play at ISPS HANDA events, especially in Australia where I have fond memories having won in Perth in 2013 and at the World Cup last year. The format this week looks extremely interesting and I’m looking forward to helping ISPS spread their message around the world this year.”
